In the Summer of 2023, I entered my horror movie obsession era. I consumed horror, unafraid of the nightmares and sleepless nights creeping up on me behind my computer screen. I figured that since I was unemployed, I would learn how directors evoked horror in others, and I attempted to emulate their strategy into photos. The knowing unknown. Of knowing something is there, but in doubting oneself.
